[SOLVED] i7 2700k only scoring 5660 in Geekbench

Hi,
I've recently built a Hackintosh with these specs:
GA-Z77N-WIFI mobo
Intel i7 2700k CPU
OSX 10.8.3
8GB Corsair Vengeance memory @ 1600
120gb SSD Samsung 840
Asus GT640 GPU
Bitfenix prodigy case

I've installed everything and given it a MacPro 3,1 definition Used the user DSDT w/DSDT.aml for the motherboard.

Everything seems to be working great (wifi, ethernet, audio etc all work)
And the i7 2700k only scores around 5660 in Geekbench!
I'm thinking it should be double this?

Any help would be great thanks.

Search for Sandy Bridge low Geekbench scores and you will find the answer.

I'll try the SSDT/Sys Definitions in Multibeast and have a look at the multiplier in the BIOS when I get home tonight.

It's not like the machine is slow, it's not. This just bugs me a bit

HI all,

I am gonna build my first hackintosh,

CPU: i7 2700k
MOBO: GA-Z77-D3H
RAM 4+4GB Corsair @1600mhz
HARD DRIVE: Seagate Barracuda 500GB
GPU: I am gonna buy a GTX 660 Ti, Right Choice? Meanwhile tested the hack using a Geforce 7300 SE

Now i installed succesfully ML 10.8.3 But when i boot it stucks After ACPI_SMC timed out and NTFS driver scanning NTFS volumes. I can only boot in -x (safe mode) tried also npci2000/3000 PCIRootUID1/0 GrEn=Y/N etc...

Could an Asus GTX660Ti solve my problem?

I did not install any dsdt does my mobo requires a particular one? If yes Where can i find it?
My problems could be related to the z77 chip with an older CPU (i7 2700k)?
