CPU
i5-4570
Graphics
RX580
i3-4330 or i5-4570

first one is 2 cores only, but...
3500MHz, instead of 3200MHz speed
Does Hyper-Threading,
Same HD 4600 at 1150
Support for DDR3-1600 only (not lower as the i5)
Not much lower specs
And it is ~$100, instead of ~$200 !!!

What do you say?

Why do I see so many few builds with i3? Because Apple is not using it? Compatibility?

Thanks!

Don't let the numbers fool you, there is a huge difference between the two. Basically if you want to do anything more than casual web browsing on your computer, you will regret not choosing the significantly better i5. Look up some comparison articles or read reviews of each processor to understand why this is the case. Good luck.

What are you using your Mac for?
A quadcore is recommended for example for video editing.

There are no compatibility problems with using an i3.

The i3-4330 works very well and it is what it is, a two core device that is happy running OS X 10.9.1. I own many more powerful CPU/systems, but the i3-4330 does a great job at a fraction of the price. In OS X I run VMWare Fusion 5 with a 100GB WinXP Pro virtual machine without issue. And the system has no problem streaming video with the Intel HD4600 internal GPU. It just depends on your needs.
