It seems weird to be saying this - I've been running a Hackintosh now for over 4 years, and just did a fresh Yosemite install. Comp goes perfectly fine until I update iTunes to version 12.0.1... and then it refuses to boot after that. I have done the same install several times. Works fine after install and MultiBeast. Works fine after plugging in USB devices. Fine with various program installations. But updating iTunes? No dice.
NEVER had this problem before with updating iTunes on a Hackintosh and seems like no one else has either after trying to google the problem. Can anyone offer me some suggestions/advice? I can deal with not updating, but just nervous now that something else might set it off...
Will just have to slowly piece together the mac bit by bit and copying a working clone as I go!
