Rehabman, massive thanks for your help.,

I'm now at the stage of booting from the unibeast ML USB.

I also have a 60GB hdd with SL 10.6.8 which will remain like that for emergencies in the future as well as keeping the unibeast install on USB.

I've looked, but cannot see how to edit the title of my thread to [SOLVED], please feel free to lock it now.
