Hi,

for the first time, with little problems I built my hackintosh. Everything was great until I changed System Definitions in MultiBeast from 3.1 to 6.1 (Mac Pro) :banghead:. Now I can run El Capitan only in safe mode. But in Safe mode I cant change it back to 3.1.

Help me please. How can I change it back.

The KP is because you used a MacPro6,1 system definition but neglected to delete the AppleTyMCEDriver.kext.

Boot in Safe Mode and either change your system definition to one that doesn't use ECC RAM with Clover Configurator.

or
In Finder navigate to /System/Library/Extensions/ and move AppleTyMCEDriver.kext to the Trash.

Restart.

Or
Remove it with the Terminal from the installer USB. Use the command:

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTyMCEDriver.kext

Thank you for your answer.

I used:
In Finder navigate to /System/Library/Extensions/ and move AppleTyMCEDriver.kext to the Trash.
Restart.

But after restart El Capitan won't start.

Boot without caches

Still cant load OSX. Only safe mode works.

Then you probably did something else that you haven't told us.

Boot in verbose mode and post a picture of the screen.

Yes, I got installation USB key in the port and I erased that file from USB key not from hdd.
(AppleTyMCEDriver.kext to the Trash.)

When I click on El Capitan SSD, I have no system folder.

Cant boot in verbose mode, system stuck.

When I click on El Capitan SSD, I have no system folder.

On some installations it is a hidden folder.

Open Finder and press Command-Shift-G
Then in the box type /System/Library/Extensions

Or you could use ShowAllFiles

I used,

Boot with boot flag -x
Then in Finder navigate to /System/Library/Extensions
and delete AppleTyMCEDriver.kext

and than I could erase that file, but still I can boot only in safe mode.
