I cannot sign into imessage after updating to 10.8.5, please help

Try xzenue's FileNVRAM solution version 1.1.2 from here http://public.xzenue.com/downloads/

I was able to sign into iMessage and FaceTime on 10.8.5 using Chimera 2.2 with v1.1.2 but not 1.1.3. Good luck! We're trying to nail down a more stable solution, but this is the best we've got for now.

Put FileNVRAM.dyib in /Extra/modules and reboot.

After lots of grief and crashing my system a few times trying other BS fixes, I did this fix and it completely fixed my iMessage problem.

100% of everything on my Mavericks Hackntosh works now. Thanks! This fix was crazy easy !
