HP2570P Goal: narrow the list of wifi modules that work OOB and support Airdrop/Handoff/Continuity/instant hotspot and all the other features.
Because the Dortania guide has indicated the current Broadcom BCM43228 is unsupported, it seems that it must be replaced. The Laptop FAQ indicates that:
BCM94360NG is the best NGFF/M2 card into the market right now, it's basically an Apple BCM94360CS2 into a NGFF/M2 Form Factor, both WIFI and Bluetooth works OOB without a single kext or config.plist edit. Airdrop/Handoff/Continuity/instant hotspot and all the other features
I Googled the replacement for the OEM Wireless module for the HP2570P (mini PCIe?), however, it is not clear if it is compatible with the NGFF/M2 BCM94360NG.
How can I determine / confirm the proper form factor so I choose a compatible wifi module?
Any suggestions for a wireless / bluetooth module that works OOB & supports Airdrop/Handoff/Continuity/ is always appreciated. Thank you
