Motherboard
DELL 9560
CPU
I7-7700HQ
Graphics
HD 630, GTX 1050, 4k
Mobile Phone
  1. Android
Hardware Specs:

CPU: I7 7500u
Graphic: HD 620 & Nvidia 940 MX
Display: 4K Touch

For the installation, espescially to circumvent the HP firmware bug i followed this Guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-sierra-on-hp-spectre-x360-native-kaby-lake-support.228302/ by @ddegrasse

I opened up a new thread because i have a similar but different machine (display & CPU)

What works so far:
-> Power Management
-> Webcam
-> Audio & Mic (Voodoo HDA for now (proper Information in Systemprofiler with Applealc & ID 28 but no sound from speakers)
-> USB 2 & 3 (USB C works at least as USB 3m no hardware to test further)
-> Trackpad
-> Boot from internal SSD as far as i reboot
-> Battery

Doesn´t work:
-> Touchscreen (l2C Device)
-> Boot from internal Disc after a longer period of shut down
-> Wifi (Intel card not switched yet) instead i use a Wifi Dongle
-> Nvidia Graphic disabling
-> 4K Display (Screen resolution is recognized but Systemprofiler shows 1920 x 1080 40hz)
-> Brightness slider

Boot Problem:
Whenever i boot the machine from scratch it crash (screenshot attached). When i use my bootstick machine boots, then i can remove the stick and restart the machine from the internal disc without problems.

4k Screen/ Brightness slider:
I can´t change the brightness of the screen and i can´t find the mistake. In Systemprofiler it´s not shown as internal, instead as connected via display port.
I tried to use the coredisplay-patcher.command and ended up with a non functioning system (reinstalled it afterwards).

Nvidia GPU Disabling:
I tried to disable my 2nd GPU via DSDT/ SSDT according to the steps in this guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...e-i7-6700hq-intel-hd-530-using-clover.191921/
instead i patched different necessary SSDT files (2 & 16)
Nvidia GPU still shows up in Systemprofiler.

Your ACPI configuration is wrong.
As per ACPI patching guide, you must use DropOem=true when you have patched SSDTs in ACPI/patched.
You have it set false.

Read here:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.232984/

Thank you!
I changed it in my config (attached). Sadly it didn't´t solve the KP when i boot from shut down. I attached a picture of the KP after i left the machine 3 minutes off.
When i just reboot the machine it works, but the Nvidia GPU still shows up.

sorry again!

You have duplicate methods/objects in your ACPI/patched content.
Disassemble either your ACPI/patched or patchmatic extract with: "iasl -da -dl *.aml" and you will see.

Thx, i removed the SSDT-PluginType1.aml.

The KP after cold boot still exists.

Thx, i removed the SSDT-PluginType1.aml.

The KP after cold boot still exists.

Your SystemMemory addresses are out of sync.
If you compare ACPI/patched with ACPI/origin:
Code:
SPEEDY-NUC:origin rehabman$ diff ../origin/ ../patched/|grep SystemMemory
<     OperationRegion (GNVS, SystemMemory, 0x6AC97000, 0x06E0)
>     OperationRegion (GNVS, SystemMemory, 0x6AF6C000, 0x06E0)
<     OperationRegion (EXBU, SystemMemory, 0x6AC9D018, 0x1008)
>     OperationRegion (EXBU, SystemMemory, 0x6AF72018, 0x1008)
<                 OperationRegion (CPSB, SystemMemory, 0x6A791F98, 0x10)
>                 OperationRegion (CPSB, SystemMemory, 0x6AA66F98, 0x10)

Re-extract/re-patch ACPI.
See guide:

Thx for the hint! My cold boot problem is solved now :).

Nvidia disabling and the brightness slider still doesn´t work.
Additionally i wanted to use my laptop speakers to watch a movie and recognised that audio doesn´t work completely with appletalk & ID 28. It leads to working mic and headphones but no speakers so i switched to voodoohda for now.
