You should probably read the HP maintenance/service guide for your laptop.
You should be able to download it from hp.com.

The processors can take DDR3L or DDR4 2133 from what I read.

I successfully updated to 10.12.4 and the screen glitch is gone but I got an issue with the brightness like the buttons are working but they are not effective ... I'm planning to fresh install 10.12.4 using the same method of el Capitan installation....

For 10.12.4 you must use the beta branch.
No "Problem Reporting" files attached.

Now I'm trying to fresh install but I'm stuck in this after reboot it start the installation process from the beginning rather continueing installing the base system!
