Hello,

im trying to Install on this Notebook OSX 10.9.3 (MAV).

The specs are the following:

Intel Core i7 4500U
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M 2GB
Intel HD Graphics 4400
4GB DDR3 SDRAM - PC3-12800 - 1600 MHz
500GB HDD
15.6" TFT / 1366 x 768
Network Realtek 8168 100Mbit LAN
WLAN: Realtek 8188EE 802.11bgn


I have crated the USB Stick with UniBeast, i have patched the kernel due the panic reboot.
I have removed all Nvidia *kext
I have tried Chamelelon Bootloader & Chimera Bootloader.

But i cant reach the Installer.

It ervery times get stuck with the follwoing Message:

"the iousbfamily was not able to enumerate a device"

I have tried the following BootFlags in diffrend combinations everytime the same error:

-v -x -f IntelAzulFB=12 dart=0 USBBusFix=Yes

Anyone an Idea?

How to get it working on this Notebook?

Boot verbose and post quality photo of the entire screen.

Note: IntelAzulFB is specific to Chameleon. It is not implemented in Chimera.

I assume this is booting the installer?
Did you install Chameleon to the Unibeast USB after creating it?

Add dart=0. Try without USBBusFix.

Yes i Installed Chameleon to the USB after i created the Stick with UniBeast.
After that i replaced the mach_kernel with the patched one, and removed all the Nvidia *kext

I have added the "dart=0" and removed the USBBusFix Option.

No luck, still the same Error

Try different USB sticks/USB ports. Make sure your stick is only 8GB. If it is larger, make sure the Unibeast partition is only 8GB and the rest is free space.

i have tried the chameleon 2.2 svn r2377

Have you tried Chimera3? What is in /Extra/Extensions on your USB?

Than i tried to Boot again into the OSX Setup, but now the kernel seems to panic

You probably need both XCPM and lapic patches. Local APIC panic is very common with HP laptops.
