Yes, that's what i think so too.Not a big issue though since i have also chameleon and there is always a way to enter the os.

With your ACPIBatteryManager kext and your DV6-3165sf patch, so you can add this Laptop (HP DV7-3020ea) too in the list inside the patch!

I removed AppleSmartBatteryManager kext of course!

Now the Webcam

I read somewhere that you said that Webcams without serial have problems.. perhaps we can find a solution?

I tried Macam, an AppleiSight kext but both to no avail..

My System Report shows on Camera tab:

No need to remove AppleSmartBatteryManager.kext.

Strange, with AppleSmartBattery kext it is not working.
