I just ordered one today so I can't speak on the quality of the product, but there are positive reviews for this specific item from this seller. The catch is that the title says there is no hard drive. On the other hand, the money saved makes it easier to justify an SSD or two for this machine. There is a hard drive in the picture so I'll have to see when it gets to me. I have no affiliation with this seller, just thought it was worth sharing.

I also have a low-profile 1050 ti on the way so I look forward to building my first Hackintosh.

Glad to hear you're making the leap. That price is good, the I5-3570 alone sells for about $65 + on Ebay. The shipping is a little high but the total price is still reasonable. The professionally refurbished ones usually have cases in a little better shape, have a warranty and have an HDD with a version of Windows installed. Once you get the 8300 make sure to flash the BIOS/UEFI to the newest version. It can be easily done in Windows using the IE browser. Chrome or Firefox don't work though.

These refurbished I5-3470 8300s are going for about $150 on Newegg right now with free shipping.

Here's an 8GB (2 x 4 GB) version w/ Win7 installed for $150

Compare this to the Intel Compute Stick with 4 GB ram and 0.9GHz CPU for $350 + ten dollars shipping.

You can put it in your pocket for traveling but thats about the only advantage.

Hello Donniekl, how fits the Gigabyte GTX 1050 Ti LP inside HP 8300 with SFF case? Is there enough space for this GPU? And is this GPU silent or loud in your case? Thank you for reply.

Yes, the card fits just fine inside the case.

I found a decent deal for 8 GB of RAM so this machine now has 12 GB in it. I have an older hard drive in it for now until I see a good deal on some SSDs. So now I have a dual-booting gaming machine for less than $300. I'm pleased so far.
