Maybe with a downgrade of the BIOS?

What ver of BIOS do you have in your HO probook?

Maybe with a downgrade of the BIOS?

I don't think it is a BIOS issue. I think it is a hardware issue... likely a bad chipset or bad BIOS flash (eg. no MEI firmware?)

If you haven't tried flashing a new BIOS, you should certainly try that, but I wonder if it is failing simply because the MEI device can't be found... Not sure really... does the MEI device not show up because there is no firmware, or can the firmware not be flashed because the MEI device is not present?

I'll try with a downgrade to the F.40
thx

Tried with F40, nothing change :(

"does the MEI device not show up because there is no firmware"
or
"
can the firmware not be flashed because the MEI device is not present?"

Any way i check this?

Nothing...it's seems my MEI device is not present.....

Even in windows 8 I can't find it!

A last question: do you know if with ML, MEI is necessary or not?

Maybe with ML it'll work...
