Quick question.
I installed Yosemite as an update on my 4530s from Mavericks. The only thing not working for me was iMessage and the USB 3 port. I got the USB port working after some advice RehabMan gave another user.
However, I also installed from scratch on a new SSD, just to see if anything was different. the USB 3 port still didn't work, but used the same method to fix. Strangely, iMessage DOES work on the SSD, but still not my other drive.
Is there a file I can copy from the SSD to the main drive to make iMessage work without going through all of the steps, like calling apple? If there is a file I can copy, I could just do that and then clone my main drive to the SSD, so I'd have a faster version of my full setup.
If it means going through all the steps, I will - Just thought a file replace might be easier.

Edit: Just realised that I hadn't added laptop specs to my signature.
HP Probook - 4530s - 2310m. Migrated to Clover for upgrade.
