How to update the least version bios (Z68XP-UD3) F8

Hi

I'm no idea to update my MB bios. Now my MB bios is version F3 and I want to update to
F8 and goto the following gigabyte web site to download F8

and download the utility "@bios"

but i have problem is both file is "exe", how to run exe file in my mac Lion system.

do you have win xp anywhere
open the .exe and load it onto a usb put the usb into your MB

then start up your MB and go into the bios and run the update from there

I have a question what is the F1 - F8 for, for this Gigabyte Motherboard? I'm about to get it to make a hackintosh for someone I know and I have no idea which one I'm supposed to get.
