It's a really simple even dumb way to do it but it works for my Sapphire 6870
I don't use Unibeast, I mount my own stick to boot the install.
I just add the /Extra and Install Chimera to keep everything as vanilla as possible.
Going to the dumb solution.
Boot with AtiConfig=Duckweed (it's the personality that works for my card). No AtiPorts and nothing....
When the white screen appears and the USB Stick stops to read you hit the power button so the System Enters Sleep Mode.
Wake from Sleep and the card is working.
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H
Intel 3550 Ivy Bridge
Saphire Radeon HD 6870
BIOS
XHCI = Auto
XMP Memory set to Disabled (or the sleep won't work right)
XHCI and ECHI Hand-Off Enabled
I was having problems with EHCI Enabled. Them With it Disabled.... Reinstalled the system with it Enabled and now everything is OK.
The problem was related to sleep and some devices. When I plugged some pendrives the whole system freezed.
