How To Install A SSD? (Software Wise)

Hello everyone, im thinking about buying a ssd (vertex2). Is there any thing that i have to do or is just like installing mac os x on a regular hdd? Do i have to do anything for trim?

Nothing special for installation, though I would recommand using a regular HHD first if you're not so sure of the procedure, then cloning it with Carbon Copy Cloner, once everything works (it could take several attempts), and reinstalling a boot loader like Chameleon or Chimera.
About Trim support, use trim enabler utility, which works with 10.6.8 and Lion. It's a simple patcher with a GUI. You can check it works clicking About this Mac in the Menu Bar, then More Infos and Serial ATA devices.
I own a Vertex 2 40GB myself, and it's pretty cool for the price I paid.
