I have read around the internet and none of the old EDID edits and tricks won't work for Mountain Lion.. I tried Switchres but for some reason the new resolution never shows up when I save and restart (Am I do something wrong?)
Anyways if anyone could help me with this that would be wonderful, by the way I'm trying to get 2560x1440 on a monitor via HDMI.
And I know this isn't imposible because I got it running at 50hz in Windows 7 via this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJV9IXT5DkQ on the same computer.
