Hello

Since several days I run 10.12.6 on an Asus 270 series board without much problems...until...

Bought a USB logic analyser from Digilent which is also supported under OSX, and the software runs fine...but as soon I also connect a USB serial converter, or a board containing for example a FTDI USB bridge, the systems resets immediately...

Read in another thread that crash reporting is only available for systems with NVRAM...

Interestingly my older MacBook Pro also running 10.12.6 doesn't crash or resets at all...but the software claims it can't find the USB device...

Any idea how to look for the hardware problem cause?
Is there some special log file to look for...though I doubt it hardly as the system resets immediately...

thanx for any hints

also for nvram:

Boah...a lot of reading.....but think it is not needed as the same crash happens on my MacBook Pro as well running same 10.12.6 version...

Attached the crash report when rebooted...
