How To: Build your own "Real" Airport Card

how to connect that usb power cable in motherboard. I have x58a ud7.

Look on your motherboard for available USB "header connectors," or refer to the documentation photo that shows your motherboard's component layout, slots, audio, SATA and USB connectors.

The cable provided in the kit appears to require two small, squarish connectors.

Another option: if you can afford a few more bucks, for only $56 total you get a complete kit including Broadcom's later card, the BCM94360: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RCKZ3SU/
I've had this card in my CustoMac for over a month now, with fine results.

I've heard that the BCM94360 card has greater range with stronger signal than the slightly older BCM94352HMB.

The BCM94360 card works with the native wi-fi & BT4 drivers that are present in OS X 10.10.3 Yosemite.

I see 1.3 gbps wi-fi with the BCM94360.
