I have my ATI 5750 and I've herd I need to add my device ID into the ATI5000Controller.kext. I want to know if someone can post a guide on how I can do this, or tell me how I can do this. I saw a video on youtube but I didn't not understand where to put the ID in the info.plist. Also I don't know how to save the .kext and then get it to load when I boot OSX. Sorry I hate being a newb but I want to figure this out.

Everyones a noob at one point, so no apologies needed. Right click on on kext and click on show package contents, open contents folder and drag info.plist file to desktop. Open .plist file on desktop and under this line <key>IOPCIMatch</key> you will see something that looks like this; <string>0x94401002 0x944a1002</string> just change the first 4 numbers to the correct ones for your card. Then click to close, click to save, and drag info.plist file to contents folder, click authenticate, then replace and enter your password. Close window and open Applications folder. Drag Extensions folder to Kext Utility which can be downloaded from here if you don't have. http://www.kexts.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=129
Enter password and when it finishes reboot. I think you'll also need to change ID number for another info.plist file. For the ATI 4650 card I have I need to change the ATI4600controller and the ATIX2000 kexts for my card to work. I don't know which card you have but if you go to this site; http://netkas.org/ He's pretty much the expert when it comes to getting ATI cards working.
