how many are still on snow leopard not by choice?

i have a fully working install of 10.6.8 but im afraid to pull the trigger on lion even though i did purchased the install. i tried countless guides last time and i could never get it to install. xmove works but when i go to boot into the lion install im stuck on the apple boot screen forever.

i want to upgrade to lion but im not sure what steps i should take and i do not want to hose my current osx install.

why is there no iboot and clean install of lion available yet? :

my specs are in my sig, any advice on how to get it going?

Because even Apple doesn't recommend that.

i tired your guide before and im always stuck at the apple boot screen forever, never boots into the lion install.
