Hi There
Im a total novice , but I thought I would post how I got bluetooth working in Sierra 10.12.2

I bought this dongle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F85ZPIY/?tag=tonymacx86com-20

I downloaded Rehabman's kext files from here
https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-BrcmPatchRAM

I then downloaded an app called Kextdrop from here
https://www.cindori.org/software/kextdrop/

I then installed the 2 kexts shown in the screenshot using kextdrop , it doesn't ask you where to install them , it just installs them, then bluetooth instantly became available and worked, even without a reboot.

Hope this helps someone...

Have you solved this issue? I'm having the same issue with El Capitan.

Instead of resurrecting all kind of old and/or dead threads why not start a new thread of your own?
Also check the Network forum.

I did open a post before replying to the old threads. I'll check the Network forum and try more things before posting again.

Sorry for the trouble. Thank you.
