Hey everyone.

I am running OS X 10.9 and Windows 8 and these are my options when booting: Macintosh HD, Windows FAT32,System Reserve, Windows NTFS, Backup, Storage. (I attached a picture.)

I want to know if you can rename and hide certain boot options since I have to use System reserve to boot into windows so I would like to rename it to Windows 8 Pro and Hide everything else except Macintosh HD.

Is this possible?

Thanks

So I managed to hidden everything except FAT32 and the Windows NTFS. I also couldn't rename the System Reserved.

What was happening or displayed when you try? I was able to rename mine. You can post a screenshot of Terminal and your boot.plist if you prefer.

Thanks for the tip it works a treat…...
