I just installed a dual boot system with win7 and lion and i was wondering if its possible to boot my win7 install through parallels?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: paralllels

I have parallels 6 trial. is parallels 5 compatible with Lion?

Re: paralllels

What I meant was that Parallels 5 and later should support using your physical Win7 partition. So you should be good to go about that.

Application compatibility with Lion: http://roaringapps.com/

Re: paralllels

ok. is there a step by step guide out there? my google-fu is failing me on finding it.

My setup is a dual boot with a chameleon bootloader.

Re: parallels

Sorry, I have no idea about troubleshooting this method as I don't use Parallels myself, but I'm sure there are people around here who know.

Just change the thread title to something describing your problem by editing your first post (e.g. "How do I make Parallels use my Win7 partition?") so people find this thread.

Parallels 6 should ask you to use your Boot Camp partition - in reality this is just our normal Windows boot drive.
