Note: Any device will lose data when it fails, no matter which file system is running. You should expect device failures and plan for them with backups. And a new file system is likely to have bugs... again you should plan for file system bugs by maintaining good backups. Finally, the most common cause of data loss is user error. You should plan for such events by having good backups.
