Hotpatch & Battery

My laptop is Lenovo T440P, I following the guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-lenovo-thinkpad-l440.232589/#post-1592473 . The hot patch seems work well, but I found the battery management doesn't work. I can't check show battery in Sys Pref and the capacity of battery is 0. I remember there is a dsdt patch for T440p, my question is whether I need patch it if I use hotpatch, If yes, how to do it??
