Hiwa's Build: GA-Z77X-UD5H | Core i7-3770K | MSI R6850 Cyclone 1GD5 Power Edition/OC | Lian Li PC-A7010

It's a small nice biuld for After Effects and Premier Pro CS6 .

Using GSKILL 2400 for higher performance timings are tight enough and stable 10.12.12.31.1t .

Installation
Using F8D Bios, nothing change in bios only changing Memory frequency to 2400 and change the timings were loose
Set manually VDIMM and CPU VTT to 1.65 and 1.05.

if you don't copy the right file (Install OS X Mountain Lion ) to Application folder you will get this error

After copy continue with preparing USB (Takes 20 minutes or so) it shows 2hours and sometimes 3 hours but no worries just let it go and will takes 20 min max (depends on your usb speed)

Reboot and go to bios set default everything all the new mainboards set Sata to AHCI not IDE anymore then boot with USB drive

Gigabyte : F12
Asus : F8
EVGA : ESC
MSI: F11

Choose USB and install ML 10.8
in my case with MSI R6850 i should install ML with HD4000 then change the card after installing
if you get white screen, no screen after booting with USB try the following commands in chimera boot

PCIRootUID: 0
GraphicsEnabler: no

Reboot normally after installation finished,bott with USB drive again
Choose country,keyboard, location,Apple ID (with Intel Lan port i had internet while installing ML so i transfered everything i had in my Lion HDD), the Lan Drivers are incluse in Unibeast

Boot normally in ML 10.8 and yoyo you are welcome to new BIGCAT

Download Latest multiBeast 4.6.1

Open MultiBeast
Check userDSDT
Audio ALC8XXHDA, pached 898
Intel Lan (i use this port)

DON'T REBOOT
install Chimera 1.11.0

Higher memory Frequency helps a lot on Adobe AfterEffects CS6 i am using here, i^ll upgrade to 16GB soon
I made 2 profiles in Bios : one OC and one easy
OC at 4500 1.25Vcore and 2400 memories tight timing 1.62Vdimm
Easy 3500 .0Vcore 1333 Memories 1.50Vdimm

GeekBench Score default CPU and 2400MHz Memory Frequency is about 14K lower than lion
Cinebench same as Lion

I've got approximatively the same config :

Z77-UD5H, 3770K, GTX 570.

After installing ML, when I want to boot on the HDD, I'ce got this message :

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin: :registerLPCDriver - Failed to locate SMC Driver

I can boot with -X and then I can't run Multibeast ... System tells me I can't run other app than app from Appstore. When I try to change my security preferences, I have a wheel turning, and turning again ... I can't go in Security :'(

So I'm running into two different issues:

1. After I get into the OS, if I run multibeast with the audio settings you have us select: Audio ALC8XXHDA, and pached 898. I reboot, and I fail to boot the OS off of the chimera install AND the USB drive.

edit: So I tried to run multibeast again (after a fresh install), and only selected install user dsdt, and it still made it so I couldn't boot off the HD, or the USB.

2. If I don't install multibeast at all, I cannot boot from chimera (restarts computer), but I can still boot into ML off of the USB.

Also you specify to have install user DSDT selected, but I cannot find the DSDT we should use for the mobo.

I have the same graphics card as you, but can't get it to work through HDMI.

What framebuffer are you using?
Mine's on Duckweed right now.
