Hinge loose

I have a 2009 Macbook Pro 13 inch. The displays hinge on the left side ( opp of the eject button ) has some wiggle in it. I opened the lap top up and wiggled the hinge and couldn't see anything loose moving. Is there a possibility of internal failure of the hinge itself?

My Early 2011 hinge was loose and what I did was tighten the screws down and it went back to normal. Kind of a pain as the screws are inside of the the black part connected to the LCD . You should be able to look up a video if you need help.
