Hi, BIOS and HWmonitor shows about 90ºC from startup. I have no much skills to diagnose the problem, so, any help very much appreciated.

Attached my debug folder and screencaptures of BIOS and HWmonitor.

Another strange thing is that "about this mac" shows an i9 processor (it is an i7 actually).

Thank you.

Check that the CPU cooler is mounted properly. Did you apply the correct amount of thermal paste when installing it ?

Ok. That is possibly the problem. It was hard for me to mount the fan and it came with very little thermal paste. I will check it carefully. Thanks for the reply.

indeed, the fan was badly mounted (slightly loose). However, after mounting it carefully and with enough thermal paste, the values remain very high.

It is true that they have dropped to 50 ° C at rest, but when I open any application they rise to 90 or 100 again. Are they normal values or is there something else that is failing?

It looks like a pretty low end cooler, but you still should not be getting those temperatures while the CPU is under low load. I use a similar cheap cooler with my i7-9400F and I've never seen temps like that. Something isn't right...

What kind of case are you using? Does the case allow for air to get in?

Is the heatsink hot to the touch when the system is running?
How are your BIOS settings? Did you mess with the fan profile? Are you overclocking? What are the vcore settings?

This case:

Front and rear fans are working.
