Hi Everyone,
I just upgraded from Sierra to High Sierra AND i swapped out my nvidia geforce 950 for a geforce 1060 6b gpu.
Before Sierra ran pretty solidly meaning I could run photoshop and premiere without issue or premiere and after effects simultaneously. Now if I ty that everything freezes! Furthermore if I'm just using after effects my computer fan sounds like its working at max speed just to do simple tasks like editing text.
What gives? I thought upgrading my gpu would make things run faster and smoother! I know there are many factors as to why this could be happening ie clover settings, system definitions, wrong drivers, plist etc etc but where do I start? How can I troubleshoot this? Has anyone seen any symptoms like this before?
