Has anyone had problems with transferring files over 2GB to Usb flash fat 32. I get the error "the item cannot be copied because its too large for the volumes format"
With Sierra I was able to transfer up to 4gb.

This is a High Sierra surprise, Fat32 is limited to 2gb.

Yes and no. The technical limitations of FAT32 are the same- 4GB. However, Finder won't move anything over 2GB to FAT32. So, I found a workaround by using another file system called Forklift. It's in the App Store and I was able to transfer my files without any hiccups.

Hi tofosi,

i have almost the same configuration like you and i crashed my working yosemite installation. Now i'm trying to get high sierra to work. I have updated the bios to u1e and tried it with legacy boot mode and with uefi boot mode, but no success.

Can you please tell me which tools, boot mode, bios settings, clover settings you use to get your high sierra to work?

this would be great!

lanx
