Hello,
Thanks for the guide. It's well made, BUT doesn't work for me (or I'm not understanding it correctly)?
My system:
Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 5 with Intel i7-8086k. Using onboard gfx.
Can this guide pleeeaase be updated using Multibeast 10.4. The choices in it aren't the same! I can't get audio to work.. Here's what I tried, if I understand correctly :
1. Fresh install High Sierra 10.13.6
2. Run multibeast one, WITHOUT any audio options
* I just choose UEFI Boot mode;
* Drivers for Ethernet: IntelMausiEthernet v2.4.0;
* Drivers for USB: had to choose both "Remove XHCI USB Port Limit" and USBInjectAll to get all USB ports working.
* Graphics: checked "Intel HD 6xx"
* System Definitions: "iMac 17,1"
3. Built, Install, then reboot, from UEFI from hard drive.
4. Back in Multibeast -> Audio -> choose only "200 / Z370 Series / X299 Audio Device ID Patch"... (my MB is Z370...)
5. Built, Install, then reboot from HDD
6. Back in Multibeast -> Audio -> this time choose only "ALC1220".
7. Built, Install, then reboot...
No sound device show up in my System Information.. Nothing.
Thanks a million for your help!!
Pat
