High Sierra installation interrupts on first boot from disk

The "Couldn't allocate runtime area" seems to be an issue with many MSI boards, I had to use the attached version of OsxAptioFix to be able to boot reliably.

How do I replace it?

For the record, disabling my GPU in the BIOS and using the integrated one instead doesn't change anything. Is it really an Nvidia driver issue?

After some poking around, I discovered that Multibeast seems to have installed the bootstrap on my installer USB, as my PC doesn't boot anything with it unplugged. I know I'll have to fix that eventually, but maybe it also has something to do with my problems?
