High Sierra doesn't initialize a second HDD drive in a caddy

Your diskutil list output proves the disk is not partitioned/formatted.
The disk works perfectly in an usb case external and inside the caddy in windows. Diskutil cant't format the disk. Stop at 50%. Is the only thing to have a perfect hackintosh.

Any DIP switches on your HDD caddy?

This appears before clover. SecondDisk is the name of the disk.

And yes, it has a switch. I've tried with the two positions.

I guess you changed your mind... (or actually checked...)

You should research the purpose of the switches and try various configurations of them.

No other ideas.
Try different HDD.
