HEVC hardware encoding/decoding

Hey guys,

I am upgrading to a AMD Radeon Vega 56 in a couple days for the Mojave support after running a couple 970's for the longest time.
Now of course something that comes with Mojave and Vega is HEVC support and I of course want to take advantage of this.
Currently using a late 2013 SMBIOS due to the Haswell i7 4790 z97 setup I am using

I was wondering what I should do, prepare for in general and/or to make this happen . just any general advice really, thanks

Be sure to completely uninstall the Nvidia WebDrivers (if installed) before installing the Vega.

When I installed a Vega 64 in my i7 4790K system all i had to do was use Lilu + WhatEverGreen and configure the HD 4600 IGPU as headless. I'm using iMac15,1 SMBIOS.

It should be a smooth update .... it was for me (i had GTX 980 Ti before I updated to Vega 64)
