Hi. I am new here. English isnt my mother language so sorry for misstakes . I need help. My dad has mac pro two and is great and i want to have it too but its to expensive for me . I have old G5 with mac os x 10.5.8 and i want to keep chassis and make new hackittosh so i have some quesstions. Can I keep odl hdd from G5 with mac os x 10.5.8 on it and put it in new to have original os ? And can me somebody suggest some configuration for max 900 $ without hdd optical driver ?

10.5.8 probably will not run on Intel mainboard/CPU, but you can re-use the drive. See http://www.tonymacx86.com/case-mods/ for modding the G5 case to accept PC mainboard/parts.
