Hello everyone.

I'm new to the forum, but I'm not at my first hackintosh.

I started a new config for my project from my PowerMac G4 400 AGP:
- Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H (rev. 1.2)
- Intel Pentium G620 (LGA 1155)
- XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB (HD-577A-ZNFA)
- LG 22MT45D connected in HDMI

And I have a problem with the graphics card: kexts are loaded OOB but monitor are not detected and are not activated.

The monitor displays the verbose or logo of the gray apple, but the system works.

I can enter the GUI by the VNC control (integrated natively in OSX).

I tried with Mavericks 10.9.0, 10.9.5 and 10.10.0 Yosemite: the result is the same each time
For Yosemite, I used UniBeast 5.0 and MultiBeast 7.0

I attach with this post, the more possible information :
- View attachment Yosemite-SysInfo.zip
- View attachment org.chameleon.Boot.plist
- View attachment Kext Wizard.txt
- View attachment MultiBeast-Yosemite-DSDRfree3.mb

Note : GraphicsEnabler=No cause a Kernel Panic.

I'm sorry if what I say is bad writing (though I do not speak much English).

Could you give me advice to help me?
Thank you very much.

Try to do an installation without fakesmc plugin and fakesmc HWMonitor.

However, your problem is very different from mine.
I will thank you to delete the message that you have published in my post.

Because it does not work with MultiBeast, and nobody gives me advice to help me, I try to install using Clover.

But for now, I better I got it is a beautiful Kernel Panic!

Attached the org.chameleon.Boot.plist used.
The BIOS on my 5770 is this http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/91984/xfx-hd5770-1024-101101.html

Kernel Panic with the boot options manually typed:

  • GraphicsEnabler=No + PCIRootUID=0
  • GraphicsEnabler=No + PCIRootUID=1
  • GraphicsEnabler=No
  • GraphicsEnabler=Yes + PCIRootUID=1

Permanent verbose GUI available for VNC

  • GraphicsEnabler=Yes
  • GraphicsEnabler=Yes + PCIRootUID=0

I had an almost identical screen to the first picture that you show when I did a Yosemite install on a Dell Optiplex 620 (E8400 processor & Asus EAH5570 GPU). As you are probably aware the XFX 5770 was one of the hardest to get running.

My hardware and GPU are different, but the 'RadeonSensors' text, the 'still waiting for accelerator to start' , 'found ATI Radeon ID' and adding EverGreen thermal sensor' text all had me baffled. The following image in the first comment looks familiar too:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...-problem-boot-yosemite-5770-a.html#post898579

I tried a few things to get past this screen like VBIOS=Yes. In the end it was -v -x -f that got me passed this problem and I could then reach the desktop. I rebooted and the machine got to the desktop without any flags. The third reboot was a bit quicker and more of a 'normal' boot time.

I hope that this helps, even although the cards are different. As with many things mackintosh related, Your mileage may vary.

good luck.

I add VBIOS=Yes and GraphicsEnabler=Yes in org.chameleon.Boot.plist

First boot with -v -x -f : GUI only by VNC
Second boot with -v : GUI only by VNC

GraphicsEnabler=No should be the correct option for the ATI 5*** series cards. See here:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/basics/116220-do-i-need-graphicsenabler-injection-not.html

I added my experience in the hope that something that worked for me might make a difference for your build too. I used VBIOS=Yes as a bootleg only. It did not seem to do any good for me.

Boot with :
  • GraphicsEnabler=No VBIOS=Yes -x -v -f
    • GUI on monitor
    • mouse very speed
    • SysInfo display :
