HELP WITH WIFI CARD ON PROBOOK 4530S

If you are in the US (CA too?), I found one Flushing NY dealer with the correct
wifi card. It arrived in a few days.

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this!

I ordered this card and received it in three days. Just installed it and now here I am posting from my 4530s in OSX! Finally I'm untethered! Card works great, wifi and bluetooth working. (BT until sleep as far as I know, but then I don't need BT really so that's fine.)

I've just ordered the Atheros card for my 4530s. The only guide to replacing the card I've found is here

which describes quite a dissection!

Is this really the right guide, or is it in fact easier than it sounds?

This link is for replacing the wifi function board, not the wifi card.

That's great thanks. These sound much more like it - I did think that "function board" sounded a very grand term for the card.
