[SUCCESS]- Help with HDMI Audio - Clover/ Yosemite / Ga-Z97N-wifi

Hey All,

Ive been searching for help for a while, and have tried following the Guides, as well as other suggestions, but to no avail.

Ive got a working, stable clover install of Yosemite. I want to use the onboard graphics/audio and have it connected to and tv via an amp. Ive tried that many things, it might be worth doing a fresh install though.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction to help with getting the HDMI Audio working?

Im on the latest clover and yosemite
GA-Z97n-wifi

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Toleda.

The last one i tried was this :

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/298819-yosemite-audio-realtek-alc-applehda/ - all i got was no audio (except airplay) and another time i got all standard audio but no hdmi audio

Ill give that one another go, I'm learning as i go along, and will post what you've said if i don't get it working ( re: problem reporting )

I also tried this - https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverHDMI - but wasn't sure as the motherboard is a 9series and not 8...

Thanks.

Figured it out.

Fresh Install using Post #1 - http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-desktop-guides/144426-how-install-os-x-yosemite-using-clover.html

Used this Guide --> [Guide]_HD4600-hdmi_audio_(dsdt_or_ssdt)_v2.pdf

--> audio_cloverALC-100.sh (v1.0.3)

then added the kext to patch section of

--> config-hdmi_hd4600-100.plist

Then Using MaciASL added source ->https://raw.github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_9series/master

Hit Patch - AMI-Clean_Compile-9Series - Then compile, no errors ( but one warning )

Then Hit Patch - AMI-HD4600-AMD-Nvidia-A1- Then compile, no errors ( same warning )

Saved DSDT into Patch folder of EFI/CLOVER/ACPI.

HDMI Audio on Reboot.

Thanks for the guides!
