Hi everyone,

So i have been following this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...uild-msi-z87-g45-i5-4670k-evga-gtx-770-a.html

Proxii, has practically ths same build as I do (exact same MoBo and GPU). I made to the Chimera boot screen, entered "-no-zp" and then......a quick flash of the Apple logo, and a restart thereafter.

I am thinking that this is due to me not flashing/patch my BIOS correctly. Does anyone have experience with the UEFIpatchtool? I may be used incorrectly....

I could be completely wrong too! Any of you guys have an idea what the problem may be?

As you have a Haswell CPU and Using unibeast USB, the rolling reboot issue will be related to the power management.

You can patch your kernel with the help of below guide and then try to install OS X with patched kernel.

Good Luck...!

sus1000 doesn't need to patch his kernel; that link is for laptops, not desktops.

sus1000, how much memory do you have installed? Try removing a memory stick or use the boot flag "maxmem=x" where x is half your installed memory. Did you update/modify your BIOS as in proxii's installation instructions in his build description?

Stork,

First, thank you for the expedient reply, wow!

Second, I have 16gbs of RAM installed. I performed the UEFIpatch tool exactly how Proxii said too...and my BIOS was flashed.

I will try that boot parameter and see if it fixes anything. If that doesnt work, ill take out the memory stick.

Thanks again! PLease let me know if you guys have any other advice.

My Specs:

Intel i7 4770 (Non unlocked version)
16 gb Crucial ram
MSI z87-g45 gaming motherboard
Evga Nvidia 770
