Help with booting into OSX

I cant get my computer to boot past the apple logo on the boot, into the os, not the installer. My computer specs are as follows

MotherBoard: Asus Rampage II Extreme

CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme 1st Gen 1366 3.5ghz

RAM: Kingston 12 GB

Power Supply: Corsair 650W

Graphics Card: EVGA GT 520 2gb ddr3

Sound Card: supreme fx XFi RoG Soundcard

[Going Bald]

boot with iBoot to desktop, run MultiBeast and install Instant Menu - reboot
at the menu screen, hi-lite the SL drive and tap the down arrow key to get the dropdown menu and tap again until boot verbose is hi-lited. Hit enter to boot.
