Hi Guys,
I’m planing a new build. It’s going to be a Z170.
But I have some questions, I hope you could help me.
Mainboard: Asus Z-170 A
CPU: I5-6500
SSD1: SM951 256 GB M.2 (Windows7)
SSD2: 850 EVO 120GB SATA (OSX)
HDD: WD Green 4TB
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB DDR4
Is it possible to make a multiboot system Win7/OSX?
(Win7 on M.2 SM951 and OSX on SATA?)
What kind of problems I might be facing?
Thank you for your help.

Until Apple uses this chip in a one of their products do not expect it to work. The Z170 may make it into an iMac sometime late next year - until then you are in experiment land. Take a chance it might work or go with a Z97+Haswell/Broadwell CPU combo from the Buyer's Guide known to work.

Thank you for your quick replay.
I'm awaire of the situation with the new chip. I’m more worried about the multiboot problems with the M.2 SSD for Win7 and SATA SSD for OSX.
Is this something some one has done before? Is it going to work or is it a no go?

I am running Win10 on M.2 with OS X on SATA on my X99 build right now. No problems so far with it.

This sounds great!
Is there a good guide for a multiboot system you would suggest?
What should be installed first (OSX, WIN), boot prioity in UEFI, etc.?
Anything special with the UEFI?
Sorry for all the questions, I am just at the beginning with my hackintosh :)
