HELP - VIDEO RESOLUTION

I have a PC system with XP installed and also MAC-OS installed in 2 hds... My display adapter is a nVidia 512mb and it runs 1024x768 as the maximum resolution on MAC-OS, therefore it runs 1280x800 (or even much more) on WIN-XP... So, is there anyway to make it runs 1280x800 on MAC-OS...? I mean, should I update some software, plugin, etc...?

I cant understand its possible run this resolution (1280x800) on WIN-XP, but its not possible on MAC-OS... I'm talking about EXACTLY THE SAME CARD, the same video graphic adapter, got it...?

If you're talking about OS X on your ASUS M3A78, then you won't get any support here.
