Hey guys,
little question: Can I use the powerbutton of a MacBook Pro as a normal power button for my Hackintosh(-in-progress^^)?
It just looks so good :p

The button looks like this:

It has a 2pin connector, like every regualr power switch.
Maybe I just need another connector, but that shouldn't be too hard?

Thanks!!

I dont see why you couldn't do it.

Keep in mind the the two wires coming out might be the Power + and LED + and that you would need to run a ground for the button its self just like the G5 and Mac Pro power buttons.

Thanks for the input!
The Macbook power button doesen't have any LEDs so I guess I'm fine there. I'm gonna try it out, if it doesen't work, well.
10$ aren't too much lost.
