Disabling the DSDT just makes the system crash instantly..

I'll try that just now.

Looking through the patching script, i noticed these lines:

# patch 1 - DSDT name
# patch 2 - rename XHCI to XHC
# patch 3 - KBD device
# patch 4 - nolonger needed: -e's/\\_SB.PCI0.LPC.EC.HWAC/B1B2(\\_SB.PCI0.LPC.EC.WAC0,\\_SB.PCI0.LPC.EC.WAC1)/'

But looking in clovers ACPI patching menu, it's that there's several more patches in the dsdt
your renames can be done in config.plist and your hot patching should make your other bits work

Kernel panic in AppleACPIPlatform, when DSDT disabled

My Lenovo with HD520 always running without any graphics problem...

Okay, I tried out your dsdt, ssdt-pnlf & config.
My machine booted, but didn't initiate my display, actually i wasn't even able to get the display enabled by sleeping, and the waking it. (Which, as i described earlier in the thread, worked)

What machine are you using? and secondly, what screen panel? standard 1080p ips?

Aha, nice machine :)

I'm thinking that your graphics injection (and dsdt, for sure) must be different, for you to disable your dedicated graphics. Although our machines are alike in almost every other aspect.
Maybe i should try a new version of the OS? I'm running 10.13.2

Hm..
Tried it, no difference, unfortunately.

AppleBacklight.kext is not loading.
Maybe you corrupted it/damaged it.
Run the macOS installer to restore all Apple provided kexts.

Also, your ACPI configuration is wrong.
patchmatic output does not disassemble cleanly...
try it: iasl -da -dl *.aml

This is really weird I've been running high Sierra for a couple of months on a T460s. I upgraded all the way from El Capitan.

The only problem Im having is that when I log in it will DIM the screen. So I have to turn on the brightness manually.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.
