help! The touchpad does not work

My computer is acer swfit3, has been installed 10.12, but the notebook's touchpad can not work, boot with u disk into the system, the touchpad can be used, with a hard disk boot into the system, the touchpad can not be used. The installation driver is VoodooPS2Controller. Can you help me, thank you very much

Maybe your trackpad is I2C? Check in Windows Device Manager to confirm.

You can use the method @ben9923 explained in post #2 or you can also run a linux live USB/CD and run "lspci -nn" in terminal.
That will list your hardware.
