hi everyone.
I got up yesterday and out of the blue cannot turn on my computer anymore. No updates done, nothing.
I get to the clover boot menu, but as soon as I select the computer restarts.
Using verbose mode I only get the following (see attachment).
I’ve tried the clover backup configs, nothing.. that is, one time I managed to boot from my installation usb drive. Clicking on the backup drive also leads to a restart.
Need help. Definitely.
Thanks!
Gernot

Ok.. So I've created a Linux USB Stick to check if the hardware was ok - it is.
In Linux I made sure all the kexts on my EFI partition were up to date - they are.
I updated my bios to the latest version.
I now have windows installed to work from there..

i'm really don't know what to try - whenever i want to boot macos, it immediatly shuts down the computer and it restarts... windows and linux are fine..

i had macos 13.2 with the latest spectre/meldown update installed.

any help/suggestions would be more than welcome.
thanks!

Hi kreispendl
How did you fix your problem?
I have similar hardware and I am trying to install 10.13.6 with same results ... :( rebooting after clover boot menu selection.
Thanks.

I downgrade the BIOS level to F4 and all good, I was able to boot and install 10.13.6
