thanks guys for your time!! i most say i have dual booting BUT on the OSX86 SIDE i have problem with the intel HD 3000 my screen is all missed up, the right half is missing. i can see it recognize the intel HD 300 with a memory of 384MB but it is useless. i read this guide for the EDID:

but is to complicate for me so if some one can or make it easier it would be nice!
i uploaded the EDID file so u guys can take a look and IF they are other options to make it work i would be glad to hear! i also upload a pic of my System INFO so u can se my hardware id's. again thanks to the people helping me out on this god bless us all.

thank u Intel4Ever for ur comment and never ever say it is impossible roadrunner197069 becasue if a mac have intel on it IT CAN BE DONE is part of the x86 desing so as u can see i can now boot but of course im missing the drivers but it wil come i can wait !!

To get Full Resoultion with Intel HD 3000 recognized, add the kext file i uploaded with kext utility . Delete AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext.

Add this to your com.apple.Boot.plist in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist

U will get a nice screen with native resolution but no QE/CI.

this should get your atheros card working with airport support.

let's get you booting first.

go to terminal type:

sudo mkdir /Volumes/EFI
sudo mount_hfs /dev/disk0s1 /Volumes/EFI

the sudo command will require you to type you password

Ok, now you should have a mounted EFI volume in your finder.

Next step populate it with a boot loader:

download this zip file and copy it's contents to your EFI volume. I've customized the boot strings in the boot.plist for your processor. With luck this should get you booting from your hard drive.

hey mate thank u for helping me out very kind of u!!! it worked i can dual boot now from windows 7 & lion again thank u!!! i would be very happy to have my intel HD 3000 working, WIFI & sound card. by the way my trackpad works! out of the box! i can see my 6GB DDR3 1333MHZ also. also cpu is good.

Do u have QE/CI with the intel 3000? Try to play Chess, if its smooth it works

siou, i don't use any DSDT, and i only use the efi string for the Intel HD3000 in boot.plist. I have full QE/CI in 1920x1080 res on Sony Vaio VPCCB15.

Which AppleIntelSNBFramebufferFB.kext do u use and what is the ID for your HD 3000? Mine is 0116 and i get green screen when using stock lion just with EFI string. Does your Laptop have Nvidia Optimus? Did u edited the Device IDs in any lion kext or use some kexts from SL? I would dance like 2 hours in a row when i get QE/Ci working.

thanks mate, i installed the kext and reboot and i could not boot back. when the laptop is loading it then freeze the loading logo so back luck for me i guesss thanks anyway! if there something else that need to be doen i wil heard from u!!

hey mate i have the extact probleem as u have my screen is green and the right side is missing. that happends with the smbios macbookpro 8.1 so i wil try soon what siou saids and let u guys knows how it goes!!!
