Help Needed: WDN4800 causes freeze on boot

Hey,

So when I have my TP-Link wireless connected it causes a freeze with the error below. Removing it and -x get me booted in. Not sure what to do other threads don't seem to resolve or match up to what I have going on. It's the one in the latest buyer's guide which I thought was natively supported. I'm in 10.10.2

So I tried a different wifi card that I had on a different mac and it booted but wouldn't connect. System Definitions the Locale is still unknown. When I try to connect to my wifi it gives me a timeout. I found the thread below but I don't use clover and I am trying to figure out how to do this patch without it (if it is even going to solve my problem). Would love some advice.

I just had the same issue trying to boot after installing my multibeast audio after applying the 10.10.3 update. I haven't tried taking the card out or booting with -x yet.

My computer freezes with a spinning wheel sometimes also, doing normal day to day operations such as browsing.

Any info on this yet?
